Inclusion of services and third-party content
In some cases, content of third-party websites may be included on this website, e.g. map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always involves the providers of this content (in the following “Providers”) making use of your IP address. Without your IP address, they cannot send this content to your browser. Social plugins from Facebook, Google+ and Twitter with the use of the “2-click solution”
So-called social plugins are used on our website (in the following “Plugins”) for the social networks Facebook and Google+ as well as the microblogging service Twitter. These services are provided by the companies Facebook Inc., Google Inc. and Twitter Inc. (in the following “Providers”)
Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (in the following “Facebook”). An overview of the Plugins from Facebook and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.Facebook.com/docs/plugins
Google+ is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (in the following “Google”). An overview of the Plugins from Google and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.google.com/+/web/
Twitter is operated by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103 (in the following “Twitter”). An overview of the Twitter buttons and their appearance can be found here: https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons
To increase the protection of your data while visiting our website, the plugins are integrated using the so-called “2-click solution” on the website. This integration ensures that when a page from website is accessed that contains such Plugins, no connection is made automatically to the servers of Facebook, Google and Twitter. Only after you have activated the Plugins and thus given your consent to the data transmission does your browser establish a direct connection to the servers of Google, Facebook or Twitter. The content of the respective Plugin will then be transmitted directly to your browser and included in the page. Through the integration of the Plugins, the Providers receive the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile with the corresponding Provider or are not currently logged in with the Provider. This information (including your IP address) will be transmitted by your browser directly to the a server of the respective Provider in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged into one of the social networks, then the Providers can directly associate the visit to our website with your profile on Facebook or Google+. When you interact with the Plugins, for example by clicking the “Like”, the “+1” or the “Twitter” buttons, the corresponding information will also be transmitted directly to a server of the corresponding Provider and stored there. The information will also be published in the social networks or on your Twitter account and shown to your contacts there.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the Providers as well as your corresponding rights and possibilities for adjusting settings to protect your privacy can be found in the privacy information of the Providers:
Privacy information of Facebook https://www.Facebook.com/about/privacy
Privacy information of Google https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/?hl=de
Privacy information of Twitter https://twitter.com/privacy?lang=de
If you want to avoid that Google, Facebook or Twitter associate the data collected via our website with your profile by the these Providers, then you need to log out of the respective Providers before you activate the plugins.
